Employing women naturally comes with the possibility that your employee may become pregnant.

This isn’t discriminative, or a bad way to think, it is fact.  Men don’t have babies, and that’s just the way we are made.  What constitutes discriminative is making decisions on promotion, employment, pay or otherwise based on the fact someone is a woman.  The gender pay gap is a very real thing and there are less women in board positions than men.  Again, this is factual information.

Not wishing to commence a feminist rage as a woman, this is purely insightful guidance to help companies navigate maternity leave with an outcome that is best for the employee and the company.
