Resolutions: Are they for you?

Welcome to 2018!  I get the feeling its going to be a very good year.  I say that every year and despite things not always turning out the way we think, I am still intent on beginning each year with the right mindset.  So here we go again for 2018.  It really is going to be a goodun.

So how many of you set a new year resolution?  The evidence tells us that many news years resolutions are broken and forgotten about, the concept of an entire year is just too big.  So how about a January challenge or just one for this week?  Keeping goals manageable and achievable will give you a much better chance of success.

Do what are yours?  My three for Jan are:

  • Eat healthily (for me that means no cakes, sweet, puddings or general rubbish)
  • Exercise 3 times a week
  • Cook something different every time I cook dinner

Let's see if I can manage it.  I think I might resort to bologanise from the freezer for the kids when I am knackered after work but I'll try and make it more interesting.  And exercise 3 times a week could be challenging as I seem to only make it twice if I'm lucky at the moment, but I am going to push on and believe I can do it.

Happy New Year WoMos!
