Return to work date

Prior to the agreed return date, get in touch with your employee, in plenty of time.  Discuss their return to work and confirm the original date still stands. 

Remember employees on maternity leave accrue holiday so the employee may want to use a few days leave prior to return. 

Agree with your employee who she may want to meet with in her first week.  If there are new people in the team/company that are key to meet, recommend she meets them.
