Come and hear Elizabeth and Geeta speak on how to confidently lead like a woman.
As the universe would have it, BODYHIIT bypieta.com is overjoyed to partner & collaborate with talented, hip hotelier and ominprenuer Dee Gibson, owner and visionary of Kalukanda House, Sri Lanka. As kindred spirits passionate about women empowerment, we have designed a lush boutique restorative retreat that deeply nurtures busy women allowing them to fully reset, realign and rebalance their mind, body and soul.. and ensuring we all have a lot of fun together while doing it.
The very first time I made footprints on golden Sri Lankan sand was one Christmas sojourn in 2010 with my then boyfriend, now husband. Sri Lanka is enchanted. One of earth’s divine energetic portals, like gentle ripples on water, once you experience it for yourself it’s vibrant yet soothing energy will radiate through you for years to come. Everyone must go.
Dee designed and built Kalulanda in 2017. All who rest their heads there feel deep relief. To learn more about the amazing Dee and her gorgeous Kalukanda House vision click here.
Kalukanda House is more than a destination, it’s a community of creativity and a celebration of design, wellbeing, nature and the best of Sri Lanka. There is nothing we love more than sharing stories, inspiration and ideas with conscious wellness travellers to enhance their lives - at home or away. Kalukanda RESTORE is place to heal, reconnect and spread your wings.
Our 7 day retreats are exclusive to women. As mothers, wives and omnipreneurs ourselves, we understand first-hand the juggle and also how challenging it can be to leave our commitments behind to focus on ourselves. Join Dee and myself alongside 6 like-minded women to RESTORE guilt-free, to renew and revive your whole being so you can return better and brighter than ever before. Each retreat is intuiative as we work with the energy of the guests. Your sublime restorative stay includes nourishing BODYHIIT mobility-stretch-decompression movement every morning, breathtaking scenic yoga experiences, de-stress breath-work, meditation including sound healing & chanting, Ayurvedic detox massage, delectable cleansing smoothies & juices, all-day delicious Sri Lankan cuisine by the in-house Chef, guests can also enjoy private 1-2-1 wellness consultations with Pieta to reflect on health & fitness intentions; on-site therapeutic treatments, plus different sight seeing and experience based day trips, dinners out, dinners in, cocktails & mocktails by the pool and plenty of relaxation, swimming, surfing, walking and talking – all on repeat.

A members event at The Sloane Club, Chelsea, London. Open to the WoMo Community.
Chinese medicine and Qigong (which is what this movement exercise is derived from) comes from the Daoist tradition which emphasises living one’s life in a harmonious way with the ‘universe’, and with one’s environment. This way, it is possible to stay healthy and become rather happy and easy-going in one’s life.
The movement practice is one of the ways of practically learning to come closer to the ‘flow of things’ and removing those internal blockages that prevent free and easy flow.
Understanding the rhythms of day/night, winter/summer etc. and fitting one’s lifestyle, activities and even eating to match those rhythms, brings peace and harmony.
Furthermore, understanding yourself and others, and behaving according to that understanding makes it possible to be comfortable in one’s life and relationships.
Q&A: “Yang Sheng” “Nourishing Life” which is lifestyle advice relating to absolutely everything including work, rest, exercise, ageing, sex, relationships.

Do you often wonder which voice to listen to? Are you seeking a stronger connection with your inner guide?
We all have the ability to tap into an inner guide. This source of wisdom or inner knowing is infinitely abundant and innate, yet we forget that it is there and often block ourselves from it.
This is a 2 day experiential workshop where we will use cognitive exploration of the brain, meditations, body work, visualisations, and creative work to explore the nature of intuition from a holistic perspective. Over the two days you will learn how to practically cultivate the necessary conditions to allow you to re-connect with this inner knowing to use in everyday life and to allow you to become co-authors and co-creators in life.
Motherhood is clearly a huge subject, and this year BroadMinded will be tackling some of the big topics. CEWoMo Elizabeth Cowper is delighted to be talking at their upcoming breakfast event on motherhood.
Talking all things WoMo - from telling your boss you're pregnant, to discussing maternity leave, returning to work and asking for flexibility... the list goes on. How do we best prepare for and manage this crucially important process? Elizabeth will be talking from her experience as a mother of three, a Director of HR, and as a founder of WoMo - the fantastic network for working mothers.
If you're fed up of doing the same old thing every weekend, fed up of the strict routine that doesn't keep your timetable active then this is an event not to be missed.
This Summer we are holding an ALL FEMALE SUMMER SOIREE. We want all you ladies to come out, bring a friend along, network and have fun!
