OUR FRIENDS AT 58 WELLBEING ARE HOSTING SOME LOVELY ONLINE GROUP SESSIONS (VIA ZOOM) WITH THEIR WONDERFUL THERAPISTS AND WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THE INVITATION TO OUR WOMO COMMUNITY
Chinese medicine and Qigong (which is what this movement exercise is derived from) comes from the Daoist tradition which emphasises living one’s life in a harmonious way with the ‘universe’, and with one’s environment. This way, it is possible to stay healthy and become rather happy and easy-going in one’s life.
The movement practice is one of the ways of practically learning to come closer to the ‘flow of things’ and removing those internal blockages that prevent free and easy flow.
Understanding the rhythms of day/night, winter/summer etc. and fitting one’s lifestyle, activities and even eating to match those rhythms, brings peace and harmony.
Furthermore, understanding yourself and others, and behaving according to that understanding makes it possible to be comfortable in one’s life and relationships.
Q&A: “Yang Sheng” “Nourishing Life” which is lifestyle advice relating to absolutely everything including work, rest, exercise, ageing, sex, relationships.
